I drew the shape on the Howardite slab trying to miss all the vugs near the edge. The nose broke so I had to redraw shorter. Worked om a slab of Pietersite with unraveling filaments and did two preforms from the more solid areas.

Very happy the Howardite held together. Ready for sand and polish. I did the doming skipping the 80 grit to be as gentle as possible. The Piertersite had scratches near the top left edge and the nose needs an adjustment. I tried to sand the scratched area and kept missing it, so I called it a day. The Pietersite will have to wait I ran out of dop sticks. When sanded and polished the Pietersite pictured will show a lightning strike. No sun today, so I did the best I could with the pictures.
