manofglass sent me a nice piece of crazy lace. I love that stuff and couldn't resist. I was looking it over at work and noticed that there was a crack so I snapped it off with my hands, took it home and put the dremel to work. Showing a pic first of the back. It was a pain in the butt to get it flat, but I think I did rockjunquie ! Hopefully I can do it justice, thanks for looking!

You're getting pretty good with that dremel Thank you, I appreciate the compliment! I know it's not the best way to make cabs but I am enjoying it. Believe it or not it's relaxing and gives me a chance to think. Or to not think.

I think so, too. The crazy lace only took about 40 minutes- but now I have to tumble it. And that's about 5 weeks.

Nice. Does that have oolites in it? Sure looks like it.
Yes, my hands were beat up with the Dremel for a while. All part of the learning process. The only thing I am holding now while grinding is the Dremel. Cab is in vice. Still holding the cab when polishing with Dremel.

Someone way smarter than me would have to answer that one. I hold both while I'm working, so far so good.

Miket, what bits do u use in your dremel? Recently just started playing around with some rocks while waiting for tumblers to do their work but havent had much luck with the various diamond bits I've purchased so far.
