IMG_20190718_202558 by nik hintz, on Flickr Some noreena jasper fresh off the saw. A new material to me, but it seems like it will cut well. Definitely slow through the saw.

Nice slab. I never slabbed it but have cut some cabs years ago.

IMG_20190719_090719 by nik hintz, on Flickr Roughed out, it chipped a bit on the pointy end on the trim saw, but it mostly went away when I ground it to thickness. I only had to shorten it a tiny bit.

Congrats on a great polish! It's not always easy to get such a shine on it.

Thanks to everyone for the kind words. I'm really liking having a wheel grinder again rather than a flat lap, and the adjustment to diamond abrasives has been great. I love this new grinder, even if I still need to get the overspray under control.
