I started making this cab with a nice piece of stone from manofglass and was wondering if anyone can tell me what it is...one of these days I may actually start learning to recognize rocks. Thanks!

Looks a lot like the unakite, feldspar granite mixed rocks from my property. Are the dark green areas crystal like?

Walt informed me that it's tillite, hopefully it polishes up well I have another cab from the same stone that I'm working on. Here's a picture of the back-

I vote for Unakite too. Tillite is glacial rubble so it can be Tillite as well as Unakite.
