Nice and quick all that was needed was a number to pick. stonemon hit the back wall with his guess almost knocked it out of the park. fernwood I would say knocked a good double after the short fielder missed the ball and NDK limped in after being walked to 1st base.🤣 hope you three share what you get with us. Thanks everyone that played.

Thanks everyone that played. Love the baseball references. Off topic, but my Grandpa was a star left handed pitcher in HS. Early 1900's. Everyone hated to face him, as he had over a 90% win percent for full games. Was drafted by the Cubs. Day before he was to take the train ride from SE WI to Chicago, a gun malfunction blew his middle finger off. Cubs no longer wanted him, so he enlisted in WWI. Served on the Western Front. Became almost totally disabled after that, due to digestive issues. Still managed to do a lot. Still was the local baseball expert. Was a mean pitcher local. Organized many pick up games in our hay fields after harvest. Was a guest pitcher for many local semi pro teams. He had what is now called a mean slider and curve ball. I was in awe watching him pitch. He took it easy on me for the games, as he allowed all to participate. Imagine a 8 year old coming to the plate facing a team made up with semi prows and others. If I got any type of hit from the other pirchers (who were not easy on me), I could usually make it to first. Even steal some bases, lol. Learned how to slide to avoid a tag, all under the guidance of Grandpa. He instilled a love for baseball in me at an early age. When I was in HS, I remember one night. His radio was not working, so I turned on my sterio system, which was on the wall next to his bed. He was bed ridden at the time. I turned the speakers up, so he could hear the game. Little did I know at the time, this game would go to 21 innings. The Brewers, his fav team won. I was a tired mess the next AM and had to go to school and take 2 tests. Then track practice. I still have some original photos of my Grandpa's baseball team from the early 1900's. His glove. His uniform pants. My daughter is also a huge baseball fanatic. Thanks for bringing back some fond memories to me.
