I was working on a Guadalupe preform and the material was vuggy. I started grinding it to get rid of the vugs and ended up with this (through 175). The pattern didn't exist in the slab. I still need to take it down less than a mm and the pattern should remain. Maybe I'll lose the healed fracture.

Cutting complete and I will sand and polish later. No vugs or fractures of any kind.

I had no expectations for this one and was not familiar with the material. It reminds me of an old bowling ball. Through 220/280 soft.
