Took a short walk this morning in a swampy area near some limestone bluffs. There are some sinkholes around and depressions filled with water.

You could knit a sweater with all that fur! He's such a handsome boy. Yes ma'am, that's a lot of fluff! I think he's shedding to get ready for Summer- but as my son told me they only shed twice a year. From January to June and from July to December!

Oh snap... I hate when they do that. It was a Bad Day at Black Rock. Had just finished the percussion work on this piece of dacite. Was pressure flaking it to thin, shape and smooth it out when the break occured.

Likes are ok - No big deal about the broken point. If I get a smaller point from the broken piece I will post the photo. I am no stranger to breaking a point while making it. I have been working with harder chert and coral lately and when I switch to something more fragile like obsidian or dacite I become the "bull in the china cabinet".

Was able to get a point from that broken piece of dacite. I'm happy with the way the dovetail turned out. Here is a before and after photo.
