Cool, most recent aerial photo of my place. Well, I cropped some parts out. It shows a lot about how recent flooding has changed the land. Or, is the land reverting to what it once was? There was no flooding the first two years I lived here. There were no seasonal lakes/streams. Now, the lakes/streams appear when there is over 1" of rain within a few days and during Spring snow melt. The small, light tan area marked former lake is about 20' by 20'. I have not measured the darker areas surrounding it. The bright blue blob is where I blocked my address.

Noticed the moon out early and glowing about an hour ago (4:00pm Eastern Time Zone). Zoomed in on it and took a few photos. No tripod - just holding the Canon steady up against side of truck.

Maggie That is screaming for a caption. It looks like an orange...maybe Pat has a joke about an orange that would fit the situation!

Maggie That is screaming for a caption. That's Maggie with Squeaky the Ball. She has many different balls to play with. That and the Jingle Ball are favorites. Oh yes, can't leave out Blue Ball, Tennis Ball, another squeaky. Several other no-name ones. No oranges though. Was doing some flint knapping one day at a state park. We had two lawn chairs and a cooler. Wife had to sit on the cooler. Gives her a story to tell.
