I had to pick this contest's slab, so I picked the last one that came in the mail (because I am too lazy to go through my bins). This is a killer AAA pietersite slab from rxscram . It does have some hairline cracks. But, for the sake of the contest- pretend it doesn't. I got as many pics with different orientations as I could. The trick is gonna be capturing the pattern of chatoyancy, I think. At the longest points, it is abt 9x7.5 inches. The tan edges are crumbly and won't cab. Submission period ends January 28, 2020 at midnight ET.
Pick out your cab early- the sweet spots go quickly. β
Good luck! I'll put together some things for the winner. Probably a small flat rate with some preforms. Dunno yet.

Thanks, I don't think they will be and I have some hxtal, too. I'll probably just drop it and cab from there. Works for me. Pietersite can be problematic, I know that. |

Best I could do free handing an oval. I found an owl. Edit: Figured out how to do an oval outline. My little owl is much happier now.  |

I donβt know about android, but on iOS, in the photos app, itβs edit, crop/rotate, markup, more, shapes.
