Hello . I recently acquired an older Star Diamond tu-12 / which is a 12 lb tumbler . It actually comes with a 12 lb barrel and a double 6 lb barrel ,this one atleast . The motor is running fine and I will oil it up and the moving parts . Does anyone know where I can get or order a replacement belt for it though or how I can rig one up .And if replacement motors are possible as well . Thankyou in advance from Thankyou .

I recently bought belts for a 12 lb thumler B. $10 for 3 belts. Can you take a shoestring and wrap it around the pulleys, then mark it to get a belt length? I could check to see if mine are close to what you need. Pictures would also be very helpful.

Thankyou for the reply . There is actually an old deteriated belt that fell off . I am not 100 % sure if it is the correct belt that should be on it because one side is all freyed . It may have been the wrong width .The exact length of this belt is 10" which imo would make for a really tight fit . The width is a little harder to estimate but I think the belt that was here was 3/8" wide . I think a 1/4" to 3/8" would work ...

Do you have any vacuum cleaner service centers in your area? They would have a selection of small belts.

thankyou, does your tumbler have a V-belt rather than the round or o-ring type knave put a pic. of up? V-belts of 3/8" width [wide side] are fairly common, called 3L with a number designation after it [3L100 is a 10" belt]. I have an old Lortone ~12lb. tumbler that has a 1/4" wide v-belt, if I have to replace it ,likely the local vacuum/sewing machine shop would be my first place to search. You don't want to put too narrow of belt on the machine, a v-belt running on the bottom of the pulley groove will slip. Take your old belt with you.

If you Go on Biedler belt, go V bets. Then Go to" Truflex light duty" click on 2L . follow the chart You will see GL160. You Might be able to Use GL150 . Translation. GL150 = a 15" belt when You cut it and measure . GL160= 16' belt. Measure your Circumference of your distance Of your belt pulley around your Motor pulley . this should equal a total of 15 or 16 Inches Sal
