This is the only piece of wood that I bought, we went to the digging site but did not go prepared to dig so we never called ahead, looks like job for dryer weather

Wow, that is some awesome material they had for sale. How did you get out of there only spending $80?
Thank you for taking the time to post the pics.

Yeah, you got out of there with a healthier wallet than I would've. Those rough crates would've been my problem.
Looks like the sale was held by someone who does shows and sells online. Was it a sale by just one person?

That's amazing. It would have taken me the whole day to just look at it all. Looking forward to seeing your cuts!

Looks like you scored.... I was suppose to go there with a buddy of mine, but we had to cancel out... Was Brad's prices fair? I know the digs were, but his shop prices can get pretty high...

Any thing in the large wooden boxes was 1 dollar a pound, one section was 1/2 off the marked price and one section was 4 bucks a pound. did n't really a lot of Brazilian agates, and that is what i mainly went for. I should have went of SAt but wife had a meeting. It was good to get out and make a drive weather turned out real good. A lot of the stuff at 1 dollar pound would have made good tumbling stuff.

I was going there for the Montana moss agate, but for a buck a pound, it couldn't have been much - that material in pretty high anywhere! Did you see any at all in boxes?
