I come upon this type of specimen every once in a while in Southern Utah. It looks like some sort of conglomerate.
This is what I found on the inside . . . . still no idea?

Could that possibly be an extremely weathered pudding stone?

I agree with cutting it. Could be coprolite.

I agree with cutting it. Could be coprolite. I used to work at a pediatric psych hospital. We had many patients with ASD. At one point, we had two at one time that had a special interest in dinosaurs. They went to school in the hospital, and the school had a special dinosaur reading book (the ones with the pens that would read words to you). They loved to echo that book, and I can still hear their little giggles saying, “Coprolite! That’s fossilized dinosaur poop! Eww!!” (My heart misses those kids so much. One of them, I wish I could have adopted)

Not to get too far off the tracks but what are the Reiki qualities of Dino dung? I googled metaphysical properties: “ Coprolite is fossilized dinosaur dung that makes beautiful fossilized stones in many cases. Like most fossil Coprolite is a stone that facilitates and promotes ancient wisdom and channels to the Akashic records. Coprolite can contain Agate, Amber, Foliage, Jasper, Jet, Quartz, Sand, and other minerals found near the dung that fossilizes along with it in the process. For this reason Coprolite is a highly energized stone that promotes happiness, harmony, and appreciation. Coprolite brings a natural awareness of life and mortality which draws your thoughts & actions towards doing what makes you happy and feeling fulfilled.” crystalgemstoneshop.com/products/coprolite-fossil-gemstone-dinosaur-dung-poop-stone-for-ancient-wisdom-energy

Looks like some brecciated Jasper from the cut pic. More conglomerate from the rough exterior. Cool piece, have any more interior cuts or pieces ?

Not to get too far off the tracks but what are the Reiki qualities of Dino dung? Ahhh man. Why do you tempt me like this? You know how hard it is for me to keep my mouth shut and my tongue is hurting. Lol
