That's going to make a really neat polished stone.

Really like the looks of the white side. I hope it stays.

Looking great! Are you planning on taking all of the outer crust off of the green beast?

Week 7: 36 SiC. 1253g. Running total mass loss: 17.9% Little different this week on the orientation, was outside for pictures, and a little less concerned with lining everything up. I'm going to keep going with the coarse grind on this.

Little more coarse grinding. Almost called it quits on the coarse out of boredom. 8 weeks is the same amount of time I've been working from home (not really complaining, fortunate to have a job, just the same 4 walls all day every day and needing a change of scenery)... Opting to try to get a little more off it and maybe smooth out the porous parts. Kind of a bummer with this and the last crazy lace ending up porous. The brown patches are tough. Are they part of what you'd expect of a green moss agate, or is this still weird crust coating the gooey center? The Tumbler's Blues(if you can warp your mind's imagination) The outer layer of agates suck. That moss would knock your socks off once outer layer is removed. Remove it with a grinder man. This one cost $125 www.flickr.com/photos/67205364@N06/albums/72157683648790962
