Monday is Costco day and Wednesday is garbage day when I round up all the garbage and recycle and then drag the can 60 yards down the hill. Top row my vuggy Morgan Hill, middle row is Morgan Hill from hookedonrocks, Tahoma and Blue Tide, Bottom row is Mongolian Fluorite. I expect some casualties and recuts.

I learned a few things working on my Blue Tide test cab. The blue stuff is like broccoli and it crumbles. I put the blue stuff on the ends and it crumbled. This time I designed the cab with the agate around the edges and the broccoli in the middle. I also learned that the material is soft and I started with my very worn 80 grit and a light touch. I did the preform and the doming without a dop and then dopped for sanding and polishing. Through 280 soft. Not the scene I would have liked but it held together.
