I grew up in SW WA and visit every now and again. Sister and BIL are avid rockhounds themselves, specializing in agates and jasper. I've gathered a few things that caught my eye this winter, including a few pieces of petrified wood. I tossed in some chunks of broken quartz crystals we found at Hansen Creek this summer. Enjoy!

Those are pretty. What is the large cream/mahogany one at the bottom?

No idea. Spotted that stomping through the east fork of the Lewis River, just sitting in the water. The two colors seem to be the same hardness and didn't undercut and they took a uniform polish. That was the score of the day for me.

You have some really cool rocks in your neck of the woods. I think they all turned out really nice! Thanks for sharing.

I should probably mention also that if these rocks were self-found in SW WA, that I need to make a road trip out there some time, and should contact you in advance to get an idea of where material like this could be found!
