Thanks!! It's so remote and yet 20 minutes to Walmart and Home Depot. On the first ride out we turned off the paved onto the dirt road and it's 10.4 more miles to the home. About half way in we thought we could see the green roof. The excitement level was 11/10. Then we hit the gate and we still had 1.4 miles to go and we definitely saw the place. We were giddy!

That sounds absolutely perfect. Not many places left that I'd want to live in Colorado (I'm originally from there), but that does sound awesome. I love the mountains. Enjoy!

jeannie and I are buying our last home. We made a wish list of what we wanted. -Large land -Log cabin -Bordering national Forest (elk for dinner!) jamesp may be proud! -Colorado -Affordable..... -wrap around porch So here is our 35 acres bordering the Wet Mountains National Forest near Pueblo Colorado. 20 minutes from Walmart. 1/4 mile to nearest neighbor, 1/2 mile to the next closest. Sadly, it's a vacation home until 2027 when Jeannie can retire with all the bells and whistles. In the words of some guy I know, that's BADASS! Congratulations to the both of you.

Congrats on getting a little slice of heaven on earth. Thanks Rick!! We are hardly able to sit still. Maybe a couple Cinco De Mayo margaritas will help! 🥂🥂

Social distance to the max, eh? Good luck with it. Nope. Lol But the Colorado amazonite with smoky quartz area is 50 miles. . . . and it’s only 104 miles to Rockman69.

Happy times, Scott. I'm envious. I'll bet you two are looking forward to 2027!

I am grateful for the kind words and I'd love to connect with rockman69!! I'll be there again in a few weeks, maybe. And definitely in October to scout the hunting opportunities. And yes, social distancing to the max!

Peace and happiness to you and Jeannie Scott. Serenity that such a space offers is a valuable commodity this day.

Be sure to have a boneyard hidden in the back corner to stash scrap supplies. Aka a useful junkyard well out of site. Us humans need 'stuff' to carry on a happy life.
