Well looks like my motor is going out in my 33B. Gets hot and shuts off. Will run after cooling down but will shut of again after several hours. I have no problem getting a motor for it but everyone who has them reasonably priced are out😩. Can’t wait till this virus shutdown is kaput and things are back to my crazy normal. Loretone and Rockshed where u at!!!

I did that for the qt66 motor and they put my name on a list. Called the day the order came in and ordered - got it in 4 days.

Ok replaced the motor. This morning it’s stopped again. It seems like it can’t handle the weight of two full barrels on there. 1 barrel spins, add the second and it grinds to a halt. So this would be a shaft/ bearings issue?

So this would be a shaft/ bearings issue? Have you tried taking it apart and cleaning all the gunk out of the bushings? That’s all I can think of. Good luck.

I agree with knave, about the rollers. Most likely. Luckily there are not many moving parts on these things. That said, I've overloaded my barrels before (particularly large rocks, or poor combination of bigs/mediums/smalls), which makes for poor locomotion in general. Try adjusting the loads, or pulling some rocks out. Even if you really would like to get the whole batch done together. The second is heat. It's 105 in my garage now, and in order to tumble, I have to bring them indoors. Heat is really mean to motors. And overheating can be common. Not sure of your conditions currently though.
