Hi Folks! I'm new to posting here, although I've benefitted from a lot of the rock tumbling advice here in the past. Looks like I'm getting this 10" sears vibrating flat lap, and I haven't been able to find much out there on these units. Does anyone have an owner's manual or experience with them? I'd like to get a second pan to handle grinding vs polishing, but I'm not sure if there are more pans out there for them. Looks like the covington pans might fit? I'd appreciate any info on these you all could share. Thanks!

Hey! Saw your questions elsewhere and was going to suggest asking here. Lots of experience and folks willing to share good info.
Did some brief searching. There is remarkably little info on them out there. They must not have sold very many?
Did find a 1972 Sears catalog with this unit in it though. Selling price in 1972: $34.95.

Never saw a pan with that kind of attachment point before. The covington pans look somewhat similar but I've never seen one of those in person to be able to tell you if it would work.
Last year when I was searching for a new 10 inch pan for my flat lap, I discovered that the 10 inch size is very hard to find. Took me several months of searching before I snagged one. 15 and 20 inch pans seem to be much more common.
