Texas is known for it's hot dry summers. Here's some pbotographic evidence Texas in the morning Texas in the afternoon In the morning And in the afternoon His face says it all lol. He's normally quite an energetic squirrrel but looks like August's temps got to him too.

knave yes he lives in one of my oak trees. I have woods behind my house so it gives him a lot of space to do squirrel things. I used to have a lot of wildlife in my yard but the suburbs have built up around me. My co-workers used to tease that I had the Wild Kingdom in my backyard. Lol Here's the owl that lives behind the fence in the woods. I got this shot this past winter. If you zoom in you can see the sky in his eyes. Remind me to tell you guys the story of the cotton rat family that saved their baby from a rat snake that attacked it one day in my yard.
