Ugh I hate introducing myself I'm writing this 3th time and still don't know what I should mention here. Okay, my name is Tymon and I'm from Poland, so sorry if somewhere I make a mistake or grammar incorrect in sentence. I'm mineral collector for 7-8 years (half of my life) and now I have about 50 good quality specimens (number still growing) including radioactive ones. I also start to seeking for minerals in the field... with quite good results, calcite, septarias, stripped flints, quartz, calcite etc. I also sometimes write small articles for my friend blog. From my excursions I bring a lot of rocks that are too big to left, but too small to sell or put on a shelf - here I bought my first rock tumbler to do something with it. It was terrible Chinese Kt-6808, but with Greig (also known as MeMiner) videos I get nice rounded rocks. Then I bought Lortone A3 rock tumber and now I'm playing with it. Also I'm plannning to buy flat lap to polish my larger stones. And well... now I'm here - thanks Greig for showing me this forum

Welcome to the forum Tymon. I think your English is great, so don't worry about it. I posted pictures of a piece of chert that I found and polished a few years ago. Someone pointed out that it looks like Polish flint. Have you ever found any Polish flint? It's really pretty stuff. Here's my rock:

Here's my rock: Yeah I found a lot of polish stripped flint - and this chert looks the same as it. Actually stripped flint isn't known only from Poland. As I saw on mindat stripped flint can be found also in other places, but in Poland we have biggest and best known deposit.

This is pretty rare where I live. I'd get as much of this as I could if I was you.
