Hello and thanks for the add. I used to dabble at tumbling rocks years ago. Life got busy so I dropped the hobby. Now about 10 years later I’m ready to pick it up again. It’s been so long I feel like I’ve forgotten the steps so joining to get advice and refresh my memory. I’m sure my tumblers need some TLC before cranking them up again!
My great grandfather used to tumble rocks and always had a big bowl of them on the coffee table when we visited. I could play with them for hours. The were so pretty and each one different. I was hooked. And as an adult, any trip to the mountain gift shops and I’d have to buy a bag of polished stones from the bin. So I thought I might as well learn the hobby myself!

Welcome!
Once you get good at tumbling your own stones: Those ones you see in the mountain gift shop bins will look like your rejects...
