I was going to wait to post pictures of these until the cabs were done, but I'm going to post pics of the preforms in case I mess up the cabs! LOL These are from some of the coolest slabs I cut last week. There's a "depth" to some of these that I hope comes out even more when I shape the domes.

Love that Moss! One of the Succor Creek's I cut this week had moss as well. I was holding that one for another Thursday! LOL

Ahhh...another person afflicted with CRS syndrome. Don't think you're the only one afflicted with this issue. What were we talking about? Oh, that right...squirrels! That left side of the egg(s) is mesmerizing! I keep going back to the picture to look at it! Thanks for going through all the headache to post these pics! You are welcome. I do what I can, especially after I've said I would do it. I don't just have CRS, I've also got ADD. Only it's not squirrels, it's chickens that distract, lol. Lol. Just now saw this. That's awesome. I have dyslexia, and there are two shirts that I've seen that I want : "Dyslexics Untie" or "Untied Dyslexic Church of Dog" Another one from years back. Our college newspaper ran an ad for about two weeks that said "Procrastinators Club Meets Tomorrow."

Day late due to my new computer dieing. Received from woodman . I love this T-egg/geode. The orange area reminds me of amber. I have not added any photo editing software to my new computer yet, so this is a bad photo.

Ow, wow! Great work on those. Nice pattern-capture, and great polish. Will you be wrapping those?
I’m glad they held together.
I believe Thor will accept your tribute any day. Hopefully Loki won’t be too angry.

Hopefully Loki won’t be too angry. Thanks Stephan! I am planning on wrapping both of them. I'm going to attempt a bezel weave wrap on that first one. There's a slight amount of chipping around the bottom of the cab. I didn't want to grind the bottom edge any further down, so the bezel weave wrap would "hide" those flaws. The second one is already so big, I don't want to have a ton of wire wrap on it as well, so I'm going to try and keep the wire wrap to as "minimum" as I can go with it.

I know it's not Thursday, but I wanted to post pics of these two cabs I just finished. I was chasing my tail on perceived scratches, but with some advice from stephan I persevered! Thanks Stephan! The first one does have some fractures and I'm stoked it held together. The second one is 2" and the biggest cab I've done to date...and the best polish I've put on a cab so far. Both of those turned out great, Jason! That second one is really something with those greenish-yellow speckles.

one more! This is a little one about 1 1/2" across. I had cut it and threw it on my wash table and forgot about it. It got lost in all the rocks!! Found it when I cleaned off the table a few weeks ago and decided it needed to be polished. For the most part, I haven't seen much good out of the small ones.
