Great job! I like the first one best, nice scene capture. Thanks Mike..I totally missed that mountain scene when I originally evaluated the slab...it was only after I scribbled another area that I saw it. I am really pleased with how it turned out.

doing it well soon it will be no second guess that rectangular is neat and that green tree rocks Thanks Mohs, I did the first grind off dop on a 100 grit wheel...by the end of the week my thumbs got much better at “feeling” the shaping progress I was making

right on rocket
was wondering what your method is. off dop- your doing really well
altho I think- on dop is a really good habit to get into
but it can be done really well off as your grinds are proving
keep on its a great hobby ...

Nice job on those. For your second batch, you're doing incredibly well! Thanks Robin...there were several others in this batch that turned out so poorly that I did not even bother to photograph them. There seems to be a learning curve on polished rock photography about as steep as learning to cab, at least for me

There seems to be a learning curve on polished rock photography about as steep as learning to cab, at least for me I've been cutting stones for over 20 years now and I still can't take a decent picture.

My approach this week was off dop on 100 and 220 grinding wheels for girdle, 45 degree . Then I went on dop for dome through final polish
