I'm called Pop's by friends and younger than me people. I've been a rock hunter, for Lake Superior agates, and rocks of interest, for many years. I've been tumbling off and on for about ten years. I'm now in the process of building a tumbler that can tumble my larger finds. My son told me about your sight and said you all are very cool.

Hey Pops! Welcome to the forum from South Dakota! I look forward to reading about your endeavors in both the hounding and tumbling! I hope you can post some pictures of your DIY tumbler! I love seeing those projects.

Welcome from the Desert Southwest, Pops! I am surprised by the large number of rock hounds which come from you territories! So much so, that I am even more surprised that there would be any Agates left with all of the hounds out and about.
