I get paid $0.00000001 every time I make someone Google something on this board. Maybe soon, I’ll be able to buy a rock with my earnings. I just recently learned the term “toxic positivity” myself. Usually I hear about comparing my inside to someone else’s outside. I like that song as well. Grace is a heck of a songwriter. AS for flying... I’ve tried to flap my arms. I think I need more feathers. Or maybe the wax melted . I definitely never stop trying, though. I guess I have a bit of Wile E. Coyote in me. If we had all the ChapStick my father has utilized over the years, we'd have enough wax for a couple pairs of wings. The term "toxic positvity" immediately makes me think of this > 1:38 my friends. No wax here; I can fly, it's just off a cliff and in the wrong direction Here's hoping for a quiet week coming up, I need to pull a Daedalus and get some rock stuff happening.

Mel - Santa on Prozac was hilarious! The whole thing was funny! Don't get lost in the labyrinth this week...unless you're wanting to be!

People suck! My bike -- also known as "how I get to work" was stolen this morning. Sorry to hear that, Stephan. Some people do suck for sure. We had loaned our son a spare lawn mower last year, it was chained up to his chain link fence.
The other day someone stole it. Really, it's not that hard. If it isn't yours, leave it alone.

People suck! My bike -- also known as "how I get to work" was stolen this morning. WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE! Unbelievable! Stephan, this was a huge proverbial slap in the face for you. I'm so sorry this happened to you. It's times like this in which I have a really hard time justifying - or wrapping my head around - my usual outlook of "Everything happens for a reason".

"Really, it's not that hard. If it isn't yours, leave it alone." Now there's a slogan worthy of a bumper sticker

People suck! My bike -- also known as "how I get to work" was stolen this morning. That’s terrible! So sorry to hear you were the victim of theft, especially of something so important for you. I have such a hard time understanding the lack of respect for other people and their property.

Can't stand a thief! So sorry you had to experience this.
My grandson had just gotten a new bike for his birthday. It was in the back of the pick up. He and Dad stopped at Wendy's, came out and it was gone. Nice bike, too.

like the time I pulled into the hospital to check on friend
car was overheating so I opened the hood
to allow the radiator to cool so I could add water
Come out half hour later Yep you knows what happened...

Man that sucks. I have zero tolerance for theft. I worked retail 20 some odd years ago. Caught a kid shoplifting. I got so mad at him. I sat him in our back room and called his parents. They came in to get him and his father was so calm and level headed. Did not try to buy it off or make light of the situation. Actually asked me to call the cops. The mother was a freak and was claiming we were holding her son illegally, and we set him up. We called the cops. Kid was found guilty of pretty theft, and had to do 100 hours community service. Probably the best thing that could have happened to him.

Sorry to hear about your bike, stephan.
Some people really do suck. Hope you get it back, but probably highly unlikely.

Friend had a bike stolen as well. However, he had one of those GPS trackers under the seat. He got the cops to give him a ride to the jerks house. He got bike back and jerk was arrested but judge let him off with community service cause jails, corona, etc.

This reminds me of something that happened to my late fiancé in the 1970's. He had purchased a nice Harley. The dealership was doing some modifications to it. The bike was finished and ready to pick up, two days earlier than expected. Fiancé was in hospital at the time. Told his 16 year old son to go get the bike and take it home ASAP. Put the bike in garage and lock the door. Unfortunately, son decided to stop by the hospital on the way home. Fiancé told son to get his A** down to the parking lot and take the bike home. He was afraid it would be stolen. By the time son got down to parking lot the bike was gone. The insurance was set to start 2 days later. The bike cost about $4000.00 with the modifications. A lot of $ back then. He owned a oversized/hazardous materials trucking firm and was the primary driver. Had 4 biological children, an adopted child and 4 foster children at the time. Having an uninsured bike stolen while in hospital did have one benefit. Fiancé was being kept in hospital due to his blood pressure being extremely low after major surgery. He was so upset that his dream bike was stolen, that his blood pressure went up significantly. stephan Is there any way to find some good from this?
