I wish i could be part of this community
but I don't like posting on public forums.
I have lurked for a while and understand you want community participation but I don't have time
I'm interested in the sale section but I don't think I'll be able to sh t post enough to even be able to post there.
A suggestion to improve this forum as a resource for folks trying to get into this art: Use a reputable photo-hosting platform and you won't loose your pictures after a week.

I guess you're off to a 'rocking start'.
ETA: If you're already lurking, a word here or there shouldn't hurt (timewise, I mean).

I'm going to leave the first part alone - your reasons for being here and posting or not posting are your own and you won't find much judgement here I hope. The rule about 100 posts before selling isn't to urge people to talk to us - it's about stopping scammers and spammers before they start. Several of our active sellers were granted early selling privileges just by following the simple suggestions in the guidelines. Regarding photo posting - as members of an inherited forum on a software platform that is not photo friendly, with exorbitant monthly charges for an unreasonably small amount of storage that can reach capacity in a year, I feel you. It's not pleasant having to have the same "how do I post pictures" conversation over and over with new members but it is what it is. That being said, I don't understand or agree with your statement about losing pictures after a week. After using Cloudinary for a couple of years I personally have not lost a single photo nor has anyone brought to my attention that Cloudinary has lost any of their photos.

I'm assuming this is just a troll post. If not - I feel it is quite odd. You seem to have enough knowledge to instruct the admins of the forum as to the correct photo hosting platforms, yet can not post enough (or take the time to apparantly) to even meet the minimum sales post requirements? As others said above, welcome if you are not actually a troll. Start posting on threads if you want to sell - it doesn't take long.
