Here are a few that I enjoy. The photography is not as good as your guys, sorry about that. It’s mostly granite with a banded chert piece and two I’m not sure of an ID but they look cool. I think it's cool that you posted! I like the crystalline caves! EDIt - can't seem to get my text out of your quote box..

When you quote someone, before starting to type, click on BBCode below where you are about to start typing. Then click after the code for end quote. This will put the cursor outside the quote box. Hit enter, or return, you will now be below the quoted text. Start typing. You can click it back to preview mode if you want, but it's not really necessary.

I learned to do focus stacking today! Edit, looks like there's a lot of image compression going on so here is a higher res link: i.imgur.com/v1eDIgl.jpg

Hey, for the ones I cut in half and just polished - tumbled in 12lb Lortone for 1 cycle (6 days) then lot o as per the lot o recipe on this forum. Ao 220 for 3-4 days, then AO 1000 and then polish I think.

Trying to get Currently Rockhounding on rth. His microscopic photos of rocks and minerals are fantastic. I would purchase them as art.

My photos have a long way to go still and to produce really fine macro shots requires the purchase of a few more pieces of equipment that I don't have just yet.

Those are some amazing rocks!!! Right now working with tiger eye hoping they turn out half as good as some shown here… Thanks for sharing, ?how long did you polish for? finish with a hand polish? Just amazed 🤔 how.

Sorry. I put these in the wrong Macro thread. I wanted to post them in the one for anything, not just rocks.

This is not my picture. Credit goes to the watermark...but I thought this was really cool! "0.2mm (1/127") sand garnet on the eye of a deceased fly"

You are definitely multi-talented. I love these photos. Wonder what the tiny red spots are in the bottom rock.
