Medium Flat Rate Box full, 25 pounds, of highest grade specimen candidates from my hoard. These are ones I selected that offer high potential to get an exhibition grade specimen, but you just never know what's inside till you cut them. You'll need a saw that will cut at least five inches for some of them. I will include a nice one that I have already cut and polished on the flat lap. All proceeds will be directly paid to Tommy and he can pass it on to Pro Boards. I'll cover shipping costs to send the MFRB to the high bidder. Bidding will start at $50 and go up in full dollar increments. Auction ends Friday, March 19 at 5pm MST. Good luck to everyone. Photos below: eta, Tommy please move this thread however you see fit. Thx

Some of these, such as the third photo down have gastroliths protruding out.

You got some nice sh*t there, Maynard! Very generous of you, Randy, to put a select grouping of your hoard up for auction to raise money for Proboards. One can't get that fine sh*t just anywhere!

Just bumping this back to the top... Randy there's some really great poo in there! I love the piece with the gastroliths and that one with the fortifications is the bomb! (Not like "stink-bomb"! ) For whoever wins this: I was cutting some coprolite from Randy the other day and I swore I kept smelling crap when I was cutting it! I was thinking "WOW! What did this smell like when it was 'fresh'?" Then I realized my dog had just taken a poop upwind from me...so it wasn't the dino poo stinking! LOL

Yes, there's bound to be at least one really high grade specimen in the bunch because I carefully looked them over to screen for the best candidates. For the uninformed, the sweet spot for really beautiful specimens lies in the sizes in this parcel. Any larger and they seem to become more homogenous and lacking in vibrant colors and patterns.
Shape can also be a predictor to specimen quality. I've found that the more the overall profile resembles a hockey puck or a flying saucer, the more likely the specimen will be awesome.
Of course we are talking in the law of averages because with these things you never know what you'll get till you cut them open.

Is the knife included? looks pretty good!! I'd donate it if someone made coprolite scales for it and posted the photos!
