Okay, 3rd clean out complete.
I did the bots first and they look great. Switching to 60/90 and less porcelain bits helped. Should be getting some ready for next stage next week.
DI'd the mossy agate next. Turns out that there are more than one piece of fancy Jasper in the tumble. Really coming along. Using 60/90 like I am with the bots. A few pieces were ready, more will be ready next week.
Now for my nightmare, the Mexican Lace Agate. I used 60/90 last week, should not have done that. It undercutted the quartz to where there is none left. I do not like the stuff. Most of the deficiencies are gone. I put it in with 80 grit this time, probably a bad move. Some pieces got moved on or there would be nothing left.
I will post pictures of what I am moving to the next stage here in a bit. Not completely happy nor unhappy, but progress has been made.

Good to hear about the update on the batch. Just my thoughts, but I think posting pics would really garner some interest and allow other members to help evaluate the progress and perhaps give some input...

Mexican lace is a challenge. It undercuts and love to fracture along the lines. I have literally tumbled it into nothing on several occasions. Glad to hear the other stuff is cooperating!

Glad we got to see some pics. Looks like you have some nice potential in that lace. Don't be afraid to sneak up a little closer to those rocks while they're sleeping. Let's see the details next time!

TBH, none of these rocks are breathtaking and I got a new photo box I just had to try out.

That made me laugh! USMC15 - You gotta love the amount of time it takes to tumble Crazy Lace (sarcasm) - but you've got to love the results of Crazy Lace when you get some gorgeous tumbled pieces! (Not sarcasm!)

Oh, smh...that crazy lace! It seems it’s breathtakingly gorgeous bits of magic, or unpredictable, and so full of fractures and undercutting you want to swear, throw it away and NEVER deal with it again. 🤣🤣🤣 But....it’s my favorite!🤣
