Well, since the This Is Me thread was so popular, I thought I'd start a new one - you've all heard me, "blame it on Guinness". Well this is Guinness... My cat. Susan And Pilar... My other cat. (She's very skittish and it's hard to get her to hold still for the camera...) Please post photos of the fabulous felines who rule your lives! Susan

Okay, I'll bite. Here's one of my indoor kitties, Iggi, she's a Rag doll. I need a picture of my other indoor girl, she's a nervous wreck and not very photogenic And here are my two outdoor boys, Ollie and Bruno. Poor Ollie sure doesn't have much camouflage going for him.

Those are some real nice puddy tats. They all look very happy! Their humans are well trained. I serve, and obey. My Bengals looked at the pictures and said, Humphf. But they are Bengals. I believe, their photos are somewhere on the site.

This is our very friendly and sociable Siamese cat, named Chloe. She's 3, going on 4 years old. She likes to sit on laps, get scratched, be carried around, play fetch (just like a dog... brings it back so that you can throw it again), and likes to make everybody's business her own business.

You'd have to beg to get me to post a photo of myself, but never have to ask twice to see my kitties. Had to put an older cat to sleep in May, these two are helping to fill the hole. Meet Heidi and Zoey Janine

J9, my heart is with you. Cat's are so loyal, and it's such a loss when they have to go, like losing someone you really respect and love.

Thanks for the kind words, Cookie. Spoken like a true cat lover. You have beautiful babies. Do they all get along well? Huey's fur does look so soft, even in the picture.

J9, Miles and Huey are inseperatable, they are big buddies. It's kind of funny, as Huey gets older and bigger it's becoming appearent that he will soon be able to take Miles, who is a little taken aback by that. Poor old Cy, she was an only cat for 12 years and hates the both of them. She has come to tolerate Huey but just detests Miles. And Miles wants to love her so much. She's old (14 yrs.) so we baby her and try to keep them seperated. It's sad, really, but we don't know what else to do. Alice, Chloe is a pudin! I love siamese, they are so intelegent. But, unfortunately, they bond to the owner and don't care for intruders. Keep her as an only cat and she will be wonderful companoin for a long time.

Hah! He looks like Ralph our F1 Asian Leopard cat. Kitty is with more Servals in the brilliant care of a person who loved our Servals and has more. Her house is literally a Serval sanctuary. She has fencing in every room, including her ceilings. Her property is completely caged in, and the Cougars, Bobcats, and Servals run together. One day, we woke up, and Kitty had entered adolescence. He was an unneutered male. It took time, but Serval males kill all males. He went to being my competetor from being my buddy. He would stalk me at night. Ralph, and Muffy are Asian Leopard cats. The Bengal breed comes from that line of cats. They look like house cats, but, the comparison stops there. Ralph can jump 12ft straight up! These little people bond to one human. Muffy is bonded to Jenne, Ralph is bonded to me. Being owned by these critters is truly a joy. You know you are ok when they come up to be touched. Back when Kitty was a kitten, and Chobee, Ralph and Muffy were also kittens. At 5 1/2months, Muffy tried to eat our dog. We had a Schnauser with an attitude! We ended up finding an home for Roscoe with an older retiree who had lost her husband and her children had written her off. I do not mean Muffy played hard, or just kept the dog away. She tried to kill him on a daily basis and Roscoe would not leave the closet and would howl if we opened the door. It was pathetic. Roscoe had been given to us after being abused by his prior owner. We healed him, calmed him down, taught him house manners. Muffy just ruled the house, and Roscoe was not part of her plan. It is longer than that, and Roscoe and his new owner are peas in a pod. If I had to build a seperate room for Roscoe, I would have. The person Roscoe is with met him and they hit it like it was meant to be. I kinda miss him, Jenne really misses him, but we have peace that it worked out. Kitty and his new slave are buddies. Servals are extremely territorial. If Kitty had been female, we would still be together. Kitty is male and there can be only one. That is the way it is. It has almost like giving a child up for adoption. Everytime I see his photo, I feel an absence. Ralph sits next to me. He almost never sits on my lap, and when he does, it is a privilege indeed. Muffy sits next to Jenne, but I cannot touch her, even to brush her fur. I have heard Europeans have Servals as house pets. After having two, I wonder what their lives are really like. We were given those two as kittens, just like Ralph and Muffy. Two yellow black fur balls with unusual ears and peculiar eating habits. Really short tails that do not move much. I identified them after we recieved them, learned about them and doted over them. He was my shadow, and Ralph slept with him. They both slept on my lap at the same time. Then things changed. Bobby and Dopey look like Ralph and Muffy except, Muffy looks like a long tailed bobcat. A real long tail. A Bengal trademark. How I love the Feline species and all their trappings. I have toyed with Tigers, Cougars, Bobcats, Servals, Ocelots, Ocycats, Savannahs, they all have a special part in my heart. And.....Cats do not lie. They like you, they like you. They do not, you are gone. Cats and the people who serve them are great.

I hadn't seen this thread before, here are our two lady cats Ophelia, the beautiful but crabby and vengeful 14 year old matriarch (she has the fear of Goddess scared into our dog Gracie who is 10 times her weight)! and Domino, the 6 year old (I just checked - she's older than I thought!) baby of the house who is also our little troublemaker. She's "helping" me do my homework.
