I'm going to start this one off with a medium flat rate box of medium sized tumbling rough of picture jasper, freight included. This is the last of the material I have that was donated by roy a couple of years ago for a contest that didn't get off the ground. I broke it all up into pieces and since I don't have the time or patience for rotary tumbling so here we go. When the bidding goes up a few times over the next day or so I'm going to add on a SFRB of a type of rock that I'm certain the majority of the rock tumblers on this board have never heard of or worked with. I'm not going to say what it is right now - we need to get the bid up a bit before I reveal it. Bidding starts at $25 and just as a fun twist if and when anyone else tosses in an additional auction lot the closing date/time will be automatically extended by 24 hours. Auction Close: Saturday the 17th at 7pm PDT Includes: MFRB picture jasper tumbling rough (Tommy) MFRB German agates and assorted tumbling scraps (Tommy) MFRB misc materials from paulshiromaSFRB Montana agates from beefjelloMFRB tumbling rough from Garage RockerMFRB Oregon peas from amygduleMFRB Wyoming moss agate from RWA3006SRFB Apache Tears, Petosky Stone, counter pieces fernwoodSRFB Picasso Marble assorted jasoninsd

Since I completely spaced and missed the last one, I'll jump in on this: $40.

I’d be careful about pinning threads. I tend to skip them, thinking I’ve already read them.

Is this confined to USA? If it’s also available for additional international I’m definitely considering bidding + any shipping costs

I don't like having to confine it to the US but at this point I know of two other members who are considering upping the ante with rock boxes and I can't really ask them to have to deal with or cover shipping internationally which is an expensive pain in the butt from the US post office. We have no way of combining shipments so you would end up with individual freight to deal with on at least four boxes coming in from different locations and maybe more before the auction concludes.

Let's add to the bidding. Since I recently returned to the hobby, I've also recently returned to my shed to clear things out. This is a MFB with some rough and slabs. Some were found, some were purchased, some I don't recall where they came from LOL. Kinda like rockhounding in the shed, "...hey, that's new ...". Misc rough: Misc slabs: Close up of a few: Agate from Brian Head UT Reverse Agates from Yermo CA Sheen Obsidian rough and slabs: I will handle the shipping costs. I'm not very good with the camera so if anyone wants a close up of a particular piece, let me know. Thanks!

I'd like to see this thing climb higher, so I am offering up a MFRB of tumbling material to the winner if the bid reaches $150. This is about 25 pounds of some of my favorite tumbling materials. A little bit of it will be broken down, but the majority of it is left for you to decide how you want to prep it. This is all manageable with a small tile saw; I regularly break down material like this with my 7" saw. Of course, there is always the hammer and chisel method, too. Here is most of what you will find in the box: Priday thundereggs (friend bed) X 2
Mookaite
Crazy Lace X 2
Polka Dot agate
Rio Grande agate
Maury Mountain moss agate
Montana moss agate
Brazilian Agate X 2
Stony Creek Jasper X 2
AZ Pet Wood
Flint Ridge X 3
Tumble ready:
The tumble ready mix includes pet wood, fossilized coral, Botswana agate, Crazy Lace, Kentucky agate, Flint Ridge flint and more.
Not pictured is also some Moroccan agate I just picked up yesterday and a piece of George West pet wood.
This is all great tumbling material. With patience in the first stage, this box will produce some great tumbles (or possibly even some cabs, if desired). If anyone needs more pics or info on the box, let me know. I'll try to get it all together for a group shot later. Randy ETA: If I have mislabeled anything, it's certainly not an attempt to mislead. My best attempt to recall some of these.
