Got the cab machine in a bit back but then got into a heavy travel schedule for work. Well today I was able to get it setup with wheels, splash shields installed, plumbed for water, drain lines attached and belt tightened ready to roll.
When I first turned that thing on I was like "Oh no I am not sticking my fingers near those things. lol!
After a few secs got the water drip like I liked and took a piece of agate to it to dress the wheels. Oh I got a 60 and 220 Dp hard then 280, 600,1200,3000 JB Soft.
First impression was DAng this 60 grit is aggressive compared to slant wheel of same grit. I was used to the pressure on the slant cab and that had it diggin trench in my agate. Backed way off the pressure and found the rhythm. From a slant cab to the wheels the holding for me (no DOP) was hard to get used to but fell in after a bit. Got the wheels all dressed I think. They were all uniform looking through visor at least.
Then I had some scrap I decided to try and cab. Again the holding and the rocking rhythm took some getting used to on wheels but it was learning anyway. Took it through all stages (280 twice) up to 50K and got a descent cab out of it (nothing to show off). Stone had a streak of hard material through middle and rest was softer so I kept overcutting the soft.
Lessons Learned:
Anyway.. Back to work tomorrow but the weekend isn't far off for more learning.
Thank everyone who gave their advice, help, practice material donations, etc. I would not be where I am now if it wasn't for you all.

Lessons Learned:
- Finesse is the key not neanderthal methods
- Feel the stone and wipe between stages,
- Look for scratches don't assume you got them
- Watch fingernails on wheels
- Watch knuckles on edge of wheel and adjacent wheel edges
- Get a descent light setup over cabber
- Fingers wet-stones slippery-they make a nice ping off back of cabber
- This leads to don't reach under wheel to retrieve while running.
Anyway.. Back to work tomorrow but the weekend isn't far off for more learning.
