Hello everyone,
So excited to be a part of this group! I do have a questions as well. I am about to enter the 4th stage (polish) and the book I have states to take a damp terrycloth or leather and put some polish on and rub for 15 seconds and I should see a slight shine. And if I don't they are not ready for the polish stage. It has been 11 days and still no shine. Is this a correct way to determine this? Thanks again, Excited to be here!!!!

welcome!
Not sure on your question, though. I've not tried that. I'm sure others will weigh in.

rocksy, First Welcome to the forum! What type of tumbler are you using? Can you tell us the type, grit size and duration for each step? Also what book are you using? It will help to diagnose the issue.

Welcome to the forum from South Dakota! I bet the most experienced tumblers are going to ask you what type of polish you're using... They might ask to see pictures to determine if the rocks are ready for the polish stage... Just a couple questions that came to my mind..
