Second tumble finished! Still mixed type but much closer in hardness this time. Group shot: Amazonite: Blue Aventurine: Iolite, read these had a hardness of 7.5 so put them with some jaspers but they ended up cracking a lot, still glow pretty though Amethyst: Assorted jaspers: Red/Chestnut? Fancy(?) Panther: Dalmatian: Unsure: Tree Agate: Green yellow, and peach aventurine: Carnelian: Unknown: group shot of rocks I only had one of- fire quartz, rose quartz, (broken) moonstone, kyanite, sanskrit jasper (?), and a few other unknowns Lastly, my biggest failure of this batch, sunstone: Overall I'm pretty happy with this bunch

I think you should be VERY happy with this bunch! You've got some really nice rocks in that batch.

Good job. Sunstone is a difficult tumble and is much softer so it actually turned out good considering it got the snot beat out of it lol.

Looks good. Out of curiosity, what camera/phone are you using? The pics are clear.

I'm liking the amethyst and fancy jasper quite a bit. Most of these have few if any flaws. Maybe try tumbling sunstone with only other sunstones? You should get a better result. I've never tried tumbling sunstone but I'm guessing it's almost like trying to tumble fluorite or chrysocolla.

Sunstone is in the same feldspar group as labradorite, and they need some real gentle loving to not become cracky abominations. If you go at it again, one lesson I've learned is never move those stones to the next stage based upon how they look wet; their cracks are easily hidden by water.
Nice mix!

They are all beautiful, congratulations! I also have a few of the darker red ones you are unsure about that I picked up an a beach last year. I hope someone here can identify them :-) They shine really nicely!
