The mighty Yellowstone River, my favorite place to hound rocks when I lived in Montana...

Great trip on the Yellowstone today.  All clean. Agates left, petrified wood right, random stuff in the back.  A few close-up shots with more to come after sorting.    Orbs!  |

Awesome finds lunker , a lot of that stuff has potential for some amazing cabs. Thanks. That's my ultimate goal. I have build a slanted lap and have messed around with it some just need to find the time. |

Ok so here is the lap that I built.   And here is my first creation. A couple of weeks ago I was drinking around with it and made a zipper pull for my daughter's backpack  |

Great job on both the lap and the zipper pull Lunk! I have a bench grinder I'm considering converting (somehow - I haven't researched it enough yet) into a single 6" 60 grit cabbing wheel...or a 60 grit and a 120 grit. |

There seems to be a real thin line along the white stripe through the middle. Then I just drilled a hole with my Dremel and used a stainless finishing nail for the hanger. |
