Misc things, per usual... (and you go in the barrel, and you go in the barrel... EVERYONE GOES IN THE BARREL)Sis got me a pound of blue tiger's eye - so this is different from what I had from shawn before - came out rather well. The gold tiger's eye are the cutoffs from prepping the big one from the other thread. Chunk I cut off of a crazy lace agate - the rest of the rock is kind of on standby at the moment, so this is a teaser. A few beads I tried my hand at. 1mm holes here. These had already been through coarse when I drilled them, then went through finishing steps with the idea that medium grit would smooth out some of the blowout - seemed to do okay. Misc pile that wasn't a part of some other thread updates I just did: Bench space getting to be a premium here.

That tigers eye turned out very well! I love the mix of blue and gold.
Does that tease mean we may get a big chunk of crazy lace for the next big tumble?!? I certainly hope so!

I'll second the thought on the Tigers Eye looking superb! It's nice to see the cabinet is getting used well as a workbench!

The tigers eye turned out great. The beads look good too. How long did it take to drill them?

Yup, that's some shiny Tiger Eye. The crazy lace teaser has to have you pumped to do the rest, it's a good looking rock.

The tigers eye turned out great. The beads look good too. How long did it take to drill them? The smaller white ones were soft and maybe took 30 seconds each. Harder ones took a few minutes. This cheapo Dremel flex shaft I picked up gets hot really quick (even oiled). Hand cramps dictate how many I can get through.

Yup, that's some shiny Tiger Eye. The crazy lace teaser has to have you pumped to do the rest, it's a good looking rock. It's not a super monster, just a wee over 1 lb, but it's rolling in coarse.
