Getting ready for my third rearrangement on the Covington...adding a 140 grit sintered wheel. Any suggestions on proper breakin would be greatly appreciated

I use sintered wheels and haven't noticed anything particularly different than breaking in plated wheels. New wheels will always cut very fast at first, until the sharp diamond surfaces are worn down a bit, so go easy, using moderate pressure and the full width of the wheel's face. But since there's much greater diamond depth with sintered products, new, sharp diamonds will continually be exposed with use so they should cut much faster -- longer -- than worn plated wheels. I think you'll be pleased by choosing sintered.
