Rocks... I am coming for you. I just got my total knee replacement surgery today and it was excellent. Surprisingly, They do it as an outpatient procedure and I was home by 1:00 p.m. Kudos to my surgeon and his team at the Kaiser Permanente surgery center in San Marcos, CA.
Rocks....you can only hide for so long! 😁

Rocks....you can only hide for so long! 😁 I am 4 1/2 weeks past my knee replacement. Same out-patient procedure. Got past the walker and have set the cane aside now and walking pretty well. 2 more weeks/6 sessions of PT and I should be reasonably good to go. Be sure and do your exercises, they are key to quick recovery. My flex is up to 112 degrees when they measured today. Tumblers and Vib-Lap back running this past week so the rocks around my place are on notice.

Rocks....you can only hide for so long! 😁 Congratulations, Craig! I'm sure it feels wonderful to get rid of the painful old one. Mrrockpicker has been needing to get the left knee he broke 30 years ago replaced, for at least the last five years or more. But there were other priorities to take care of first. His cardiologist said he needed a new aortic heart valve, but when they did the angiogram last month, they said it wasn't as bad as they thought. But he will need one within a few years. But while doing that, they found he has an artery in his heart 80% blocked. He goes through basically the same outpatient procedure as before to have a stent put in on June 28. A couple more issues to take care of, then his knee. No one in my family has had a knee replaced, but my younger sister has had one hip replaced - after being in a car accident ten years ago which totalled her car - and my dad and older sister have both had both hips replaced. Genetics! I'm good for now! So amazing what they can do on an outpatient basis these days, even during Covid. Wishing you a speedy recuperation! Oh, almost forgot to add - take it easy and don't over do it!

Great news, Craig! Be a good boy like Henry said and do your exercises and you'll be good to go hounding in no time.

My wife had both hers replaced and I'll need to have mine done soon. From what I've seen you want to be sure to do your physical therapy. Good luck.

I couldn't imagine trying to pick rock on a new knee. Walking around on uneven ground might be OK, but kneeling would be brutal. However, I respect anybody that tries. Good luck and best wishes for a fast and successful recovery. Just don't injure it again from impatience. I could cut out the last sentence here and pin it on my fridge.
