Not sure if it applies here, but from my limited tumbling experience, those black streaks which seem to be porous can't be shined, unless they are very small. Second batch is very tempting!

Guess you convinced somebody. Not sure what you’re getting at. We’re you trying to discourage folks from buying? I list what I have with pictures and descriptions and am always willing to answer questions. But to have a 3rd party come in to denigrate the listing is off-putting. Anyway, happy hounding. |

Guess that would depend on experience and end use... Don’t have a dog in this but we have had very good results getting a shine on the Hematite in Tiger Iron. About two years ago my son and I made 8-10 pendants out of it which were rough shaped on a 60grit wheel and then run through the vibe with many other pendants. They were some of my favorites and he sold all of them. |
