Mostly quartz, with a few agates, amethyst, & jasper thrown in.
This is a rock that I picked up at Paradise Beach, on the North Shore of Lake Superior.
A couple views of an agate that turned out nicely:
Some citrine:

You're getting some nice results RedWingTumbler. The clear ones look like ice they're so shiny! Quartz is fun to tumble isn't it ? The patterns on the agate is spiffy looking too..

Another great batch RW! My eyes are drawn down to the bottom right corner in the top pic to the piece that looks like a brecciated Jasper of some kind...

Quartz is tricky for me. I've had some pieces get damaged in the late stages, so this time, I added a lot of ceramics in stages 3 & 4 to cushion the rocks. That seemed to do the trick.

Yes, I believe that's exactly what that piece is. I didn't get a great detail picture of it, but there was a bit of undercutting. I really like tumbling jasper, so I might order some more of that to see if I can get a proper batch.

I've tumbled some Stone Canyon Brecciated Jasper before. I didn't "prep" the pieces before I put them in the tumbler, so they took forever. I should have trimmed them up first and they would have been far easier to tumble. I did some cabs today and had some undercutting issues myself...so it must just be in the air right now! LOL

I got a rough mix from rockshed.com that listed Moss Agate in the description. Here's a shot of the rough stones with that particular stone circled:
