I love this one and wish I had a ton more. There is one spot that is so bright red My guess is limb cast

Does look like pet wood but could also be just an agate. Overall a beautiful piece.

Can see why you like it. The botryoidal areas would be unusual for wood, but other areas have a woody look to them. Agates can form in wood, so maybe?

Gorgeous Ali! I can see why you're trying to identify that one! I'm not sure a pickup bed full of it would be quite enough!

I was looking at the rounded areas in the 3rd photo. It is just a big chunk chipped out that made it look like a bubble

Interesting. I wonder how it was formed; what came first. Like the smeared red spot. First thought was blood. Nooo! Like frog in third photo.
What are you going to do with it?

I see an agate in rhyolite, possibly a broken thunderegg. The bubbly surface is rhyolite, as well as the other which is classic flow banded rhyolite. i agree this is part of a egg

I agree with @jadedvision, agate in rhyolite. The "bubbles" on the end remind me a lot of the Baker Ranch Thundereggs. Most will have circular nodules on the outside and the agate area inside surrounded by rhyolite.

Yep, I think rhyolite as well, and an egg bit would seem likely.
