Hey Folks! I _believe I know what this is, but figured I put it out there for the experts to ID. I found it digging through a rock garden amongst a bunch of small pieces of rather bland pet wood that were sporting the same colors. Other side Any thoughts?

Lepidodendron where is it from? Looks like some of the material that came out of Iowa in the 1970s

beefjello Yes that is a nice Lepidodendron. The are typical Pennsylvanian period, coal swamp fossils. Very nice piece.
