Nice rocks that you found Which Big Creek are you talking about ? Beachside or Ponsler State Park Ponsler State Park, between Heceta Head and Cape Perpetua

That's a great haul! Been through Oregon a couple of times but it was before I was into this hobby. Looking like a good excuse to get back there.

That's a great haul! Been through Oregon a couple of times but it was before I was into this hobby. Looking like a good excuse to get back there. You must do it - you would have so much fun. I wasn't even there at the prime time of year for the beach rockhounding, and I found a lot of good ones!

Next time you go to Battery Point lighthouse, pick up the green serpentine during low tide, close to the trail headed to the lighthouse at low tide .. Sounds like you had an excellent time on your trip ..👍😁

Wowser! Looks like that buoy is riding a roller coaster today! Too cold to even think about doing any beach rock hunting today, the low was 44 degrees overnight. It is warming up some, all they weay up to 69 degrees (Woo-hoo!) right now, though my feet still have not thawed out since this morning. Below 60 is downright cold for this native San Diegan, lol. Watch out for those sneaker waves, Dule!
