FYI. For those not on Facebook following his business, Glenn had a major theft this year. While he was constructing his new lapidary space. Glenn also coordinated the FCC contest on RTH for several years.
He is an amazing lapidary artist, offering memorial paw etchings in rocks for 4 legged family members and custom works. I had him do a Christmas tree with an opening for a photo. This was for my Grandchild's first Christmas. It was beyond my expectations.
Glenn really deserves some love from RTH members.

Thanks fernwood, late to my own party lol. Have lots of time now since my last job laid me off as I'm not allowed to get fully vaxed since the first one sent me to the hospital. (They say it's because they lost the ability to train me and garentee its not for the Vax stats) Trying to keep busy though catching up on some cab work that I've put off for a year or so? All going to be finished within the next couple days and break into some new materials! As AR as the burglary went, at the time of loss about $93.5k valuables loss and about 5k damages. Current value of the loss with today's pricing would be well over 200k. Combine that with the crazy lumber prices and my shop idea went out the window. Would have been a public shop that people could rent out at a very reasonable price. Luckily a couple people donated on my go fund me campaign and I had a generous local customer and combined with my earnings was able to pickup an old 10x12 hay barn for $3k moved to my spot to be storage for rocks and things, also got a lot of old metal shelving for the cost 1/2 a new single unit. Haven't made a dent and put up 6 units already, just need shelves in 4 units. This greatly freed up space so now my little 8x8 cutting room can be heated and once I get more oil in soon, I can use it more and open it to anyone that wants to use it. Feels nice to run the saw after setting for 3 years or so. Along with freeing up space in that area I was also able to get my storage bus emptied and can finally transform it into the rockhounding RV. I got almost everything I need to convert for free, hopefully come summer I can get it on the road. I'll be able to take up to 8 passengers. Slowly chipping away at my plan, but still a long ways off for my master plan to be feasible.. every room in my house I've got rocks and is a workbench with the few tools I can actually use. Shop plan now is tentatively rescheduled for min 5 years out since I need to recover from the theft (most of that was shop fund). Realistically the shop goal is 7 to 10 years out. This is if the prices stop increasing. And presuming I get another decent job more then 15/hr... or somehow be self employed at a monthly rate I need to get the goals. That sums up since my last login just about. Mostly bad news but minor wins make it easier. Just need to keep living beans and rice budget and I'll get a shop some day! Least if it's in the Lord's plan.
