LOL In all seriousness, I really do find it difficult sometimes to find a "good" background for taking pictures of cabs or wraps. The background really does make a difference. There are some people on here who have some amazing "back-drops" for their photos...and the color of the background can make an amazing difference. I'm still working on figuring that out myself.

That's true! I should probably get an old white sheet for better pics.

Some kind of a "light" background (white sheet), as well as some kind of a "dark" background (black or similarly dark sheet)...you'll be surprised at what a difference the two different backgrounds will make with the same rock. Lighter colored rocks on the darker background and vice versa. I'm sure this doesn't "always" work...but I think you'll see a difference in your pics.

I have to remember that next time I take pics.

WOW! Nice! I'm now thinking about retumbling some of my earlier river stones with the AO from Rock Shed. Not that the shines were bad on them after the 1200, but yours blow mine away!

Wow! Take me to the river! And throw me in the water! Ha! I think the area we hounded was heavily picked over. We were looking for carnelian agates but I'm not sure if we found any. Found lots of nice transparent quartz though.

The one I circled is actually a California sea shell! Forgot to say that. Found some thick ones to tumble for fun flic.kr/p/2mwCpxo

perkins17 What state are the rocks from? They look similar to some from the Brookwood AL area.
