I have been curious to see how everyone else stores/displays their tumbled stones. I have mine in a Samsonite chestish thing that is rapidly filling up. I might post a pic tomorrow.

In a 15" diameter glass dish sitting on the coffee table in the living room...it's the "favorites" dish. It was a gift from my wife last Christmas.

LOL - Nah, there's some Crazy Lace, a bunch of Prairie Agates (and various Jaspers hounded here in SD), some Bubble Agates, and some various others. Thanks for the compliment on the tumbling...I use AO from the Rock Shed. I have a Thumler Model B and a UV-18...and a small 3 pound rotary that I haven't used much.

Lol... bigger tumbled than I have. I only have the 33b and the MT-4 and 1 tiny tumbler I don't use.

We put most of our "best" stuff in old glass block vases found at garage/estate sales, three in the front room. Everything else on shelves in our rock shop room or in peanut butter or mixed nut plastic containers in a cabinet.

Currently we have them everywhere- on platters, wood bowls, display cases, storage bins, etc. After my son had some success selling at shows a couple of years ago we really ramped up production. Then the world...........you know. Being in NY state so much was canceled for so long. We have about 250-300lbs. of finished rocks and most of the show opportunities are not until spring/summer. Seriously thinking about cutting back or at least switching gears and focusing more on large multi-pound rocks.

We have a few glass decorative bowls around the house with tumbles that my wife likes. Most of my tumbles are stored in various sizes of plastic buckets. I take them to school from time to time for my students to look through. Buckets are the easiest way to transfer them back and forth.

I just took this picture while doing some sorting. All of the rocks on the towel are recent and need to go in bins. I figure I have finished about 1,500 pounds to date. I would say I probably have another 150 pounds of finished tumbles on hand that are not shown in that photo. Waiting for all the covid restrictions to let up so I can start selling again at rock and gem shows. Chuck
