Good looking slabs there Henry! I like the "oddball" down there in the bottom left corner. I need to re-do the picture of the slabs as they are not in focus and do not capture the detail of the polished slabs. That and add a picture of the slabs without the back-light on to show the actual color better. The slab you mention is a Luna Blue from New Mexico and the color washes out when back-lit. Need to cut and polish more of the Blue as I have over 100 pounds of it collected 35 years ago. Taking pictures with Digital cameras is just a real issue for me and I long for the simplicity of my old 35mm, manual focus, manual light-meter and f-stop through the view-finder. All the settings on these new digital cameras confuse the heck out of me.

They all need a closeup especially the luna What are the plans for those? Plan on taking a few more pictures, hopefully better!! Will include the Luna Blue. One thing about this material, it looses some of it's color when slabbed, like a lot of the Brazilians the color is in the depth. For the ones that have any fractures or have broken in during the process I plan on cutting a flat edge and making night lights with them. I need the ones with the LED bulb mounted above the fixture housing. Have already made night lights with the recessed LED bulb fixtures by cutting flat bottoms on Quartz crystals and super-gluing them to the fixture. It turns out that the crystals with "cloudy" areas closest to the bulb worked the best, they diffused the light better. Sold real well at the last show in Aug. Need to come up with a little rig to hold the slabs in place while the glue dries. I like using the gel super glue as it stays in place while drying, the other tends to flow all over the place. The gel just takes longer to dry. I don't plan on cutting any of the "perfect slabs" and definitely not any of the large slabs and selling them as is with a plastic slab-holder. (can you see how my list goes, it never gets shorter, more projects just get added!!!)

@hankrocks these look amazing! Did you polish them in a vibe? Yes, polished in a UV-18. All other stages were in a Model B rotary.
