Are you looking to buy a home or lease? I don't live in Oregon, so I can't help in that regard, but you can use some on-line services like realtor.com, Zillow, etc. to look around in the area you choose to live. Read reviews of realtors who serve that area and call or email a couple to get some knowledgeable help.
We have some folks on the board that live in Oregon. Maybe some will be able to give you referrals for realtors they've used and have had a good experience with.
Good luck!
Disclosure: I'm a licensed realtor in Arizona.

daddyd I'm pretty familiar with some of the sunstone people and others around lakeview, Paisley and Plush, but quite honestly if you brushed them aside like you did Robin I really wouldn't want to have my name connected to it. My suggestion is to look around Bend or Burns, there could be some opportunities to winter over in someones summer place. Short term rentals are probably all you'll find, and they won't be cheap. Make some friends, be nice to people, and especially check carefully with the county regarding claims if that's what you want to do. It will be at least May before you can do much there as far as prospecting.

I am sorry if I offended anyone I just have my way of doing things I am very stressed out right now but I will accept any help at this time I not being facetious when I say that is bit of a contradictory statement. If you will accept “any help,” you may have ease up on doing it “your way.” You also had advice from a knowledgable person who disclosed her profession, even though she is licensed in a different state. And checking with a realtor’s office may not be a bad idea. In some places they may handle rentals as well, or at least the listings. Contempt prior to investigation can cut off a lot of avenues.

You are correct as NO one is perfect. In today's age it is very hard to find a place to stay unless it is with friends or family. There are MANY places that can guide you and or assist you in finding shelter. Choose the area you want to live in and go from there

I think we can all understand how you feel. In desperation we lash out. I'm sorry you are having such a hard time.
Do you know what Craig's List is? Try looking for a place there. You are more likely to find a cheap place and even a roommate. Pick an area you are interesting in and look it up on Craig's list www.craigslist.org/about/sites#US But, be careful. There are some scammers out there preying on desperate people.

"Some" scammers, she says. LOL. Use Craigslist like wikipedia. Find info and verify it elsewhere. Do not respond directly to the ads, if you can avoid it. Last time we looked for housing on craigslist, the majority of listings were scams -- listed by people who did not own, manage or otherwise have any authority to rent the places. Large numbers of listings with similar verbiage can be a red flag. So can phone numbers that lead to Google phone VMs (especially when they seem to have a different number than what you dialed). I know some people are long-distance landlords/landladies, but an area code that is different than the area can also be trouble. I know this is more difficult now, since people do tend to hang on to their cell phone numbers when they move, but be cautious if the inconsistencies add up. We had many resulting problems, including having our phones hacked. I recovered mine quickly, but my wife had months of problems.

For whatever situational reasons that are largely none of our business you have found yourself living in the Philippines and specific advice on how you can move back to the US is probably not completely in the scope of the help to be found on a rock tumbling hobby forum. My advice would be take a step back and talk about rocks for a while and let folks get to know you while you get to know us. As a side note, when good advice is given along with appropriate disclaimers (whether they are needed or not), if the advice doesn't seem to be relevant we typically would just thank the person for their time and move along.
