Does anyone have a 220 nova (soft) wheel with a little use (or new) that they want to sell to me? Does anyone know where I can get one? I called DP and they don't have them anymore.

Kingsley only stocks the 280 nova If you are needing 220 grit, on Nova brand You could consider getting yours resurfaced in 220

Yeah, I had same problem. So bit the bullet and went with Johnson brothers 220 soft wheel. It's my second one from them in pretty short time frame. Never had a new 280 or 220 wheel prior to the first one I got from them so can't say for sure if lifespan was shorter than a nova would be or not. Price is pretty good and definitely love 220 soft wheel. I never have to go back to 220 chasing scratches like I did w 280. But have to roll the dice w Johnson bros to get a 220 it seems

How stiff is it? Stiffer than a Nova? I had a different brand wheel once and had to pitch it. It was damn loud and stiff.

I’ve been 100% happy with JB so far. I'm glad to hear your endorsement. I have ordered probably 5 times with not so stellar an experience. I would try them again, though.
So, how do their wheels compare to Novas in stiffness and noise?

I broke down and bought one from JB. I don't need it right now, but who knows if it will be available when I do?

Sorry for late reply. It's a tad stiffer and louder than nova I'd say. But I don't notice too much of a difference after some use on the wheel.

I haven’t used true NOVA yet so can’t say. But at first it is loud, then as it breaks in it’s much better.

rockjunquie I just checked what ronsrocks had on ebay, and looked like no 220 offering in 6 inches. He had a set of 4 novas in 8 inch for a titan that included a 220, but nothing in 6 inch. I think I'll shoot him a message to see if he still has them made up at all, I have a new 280 on reserve for mine so in no hurry right now, but I have a plan to add another cabbing machine so me and the missus don't have to wrestle over the genie, it will need wheels too.

Thanks! I was buying my 220 from Ron. Someone said he isn't selling them anymore and DP has discontinued them with none in the warehouse. I do have an old one to refinish at JB if need be.
