Being new to the forum, i've been posting/sharing a lot of stuff i've found over the years. Hope i'm not coming across as a rock snob or bragging type. More or so just passionate about what I do and wanting to share my passion that all of you have and talk rocks. I honestly hope i'm encouraging others to get out there and find that next big deposite. I've been digging through your and others stuff. I just love seeing whats out there and learning. Everytime I think I know it all, you guys introduce me to new material. I've found a lot of stuff over the past 30 years. A lot of which I have a large supply, but I've never brought it to market (hence private bed haha). I was blessed to have a grandfather who was one of the original big time prospectors out of central oregon. Because of him, i've learned prospecting secrets, tips, areas, etc.. that many still don't know about to this day. Maybe some day our paths will cross and i'll give you some stuff that will blow your mind Pfft, I'm thinking more along the lines that we don't hang out enough, lol. He'll, I'll even let you adopt me. If you make it to Oregon, hit me up. I'll see what we cant work out. I'll take you out to find your own great stuff.

Was digging through some stuff at my grandparents today and stumbled across this egg. I know this came from our bed but never remember him ever mentioning it to me. Now i'm dying to know where the other half went. Golds plumes in white opal, this was a first for me haha. That's a beautiful half-egg!

The top one look likes one of my favorites. Medicine bow Funny you say that, because if I didn't know any better, I would argue it as medicine bow. Eagle rock outside of Prineville OR, produced a vary large variety of plumes in such a small area. This stuff is one of the main types that came right out of the cliff face. Some of the stuff I posted early in the thread actually was dug up from the valley floor below and has a different look to it. Carey plume was found just over the hill on the valley floor and Robinson was found right in the area as well. Crazy enough, this is from a vein I stumbled across i've been working on out in that general area. Its a golden moss thats full of black metallic plumes.

That is beautiful. There is something about black and white that really stands out.

Jason they are kinda like Pokémon: gotta catch them all! I know the feeling. I have an unhealthy obsession with plume agate. I've dug deposits of new material, that i've only shared with one or two others. Here is some stuff thats actually more of a jasper plume. Dug this material not too long ago. Right outside of Prineville. Double checked with myself, interesting Convo it was, decide unanimously I'm still open to you adopting me.

realrockhound - Another couple amazing specimens you've posted! While I'm not necessarily hoping for adoption, if you ever decide to sell any of your material, keep me in mind. You may have to give me a heads up so I can start playing the lottery in the hopes I can afford it! LOL

Truth be told, I even want to give a few of you here some slabs of material I have stockpiles of. I’m just kind of slow about getting to things.
